Our Advantage
Immunetrics offers significant biological expertise and modeling experience, allowing us to create innovative modeling technology that supports our clients' therapeutic and diagnostic development projects.
Immunetrics biosimulation technology provides solutions to many of the challenges faced at each stage of the pharmaceutical development process. When you partner with Immunetrics, you gain:
Expertise
- We maintain high standards of biological accuracy and mathematical soundness for our models. Our highly-trained biologists manually review literature, discussing each detail with the mathematical modelers so that we remain unfailingly faithful to biological principles. Our math modelers then capture each biological interaction and its consequences in an equation, strictly adhering to our mathematical principles of mechanistic modeling and parsimonious construction, and avoiding pitfalls such as equation stiffness.
- Immunetrics models span every level of biological detail: molecular, cellular, organ system, organism. We dynamically incorporate processes at each level within the same model. We can identify and capture the critical information at every level to ensure that our models are appropriately detailed, yet manageably sized.
Experience
- Our powerful biosimulation platform is the fruit of many years of practical model development experience. It provides the tools necessary to efficiently build the highest quality models.
- The Immunetrics technical team is proficient in a wide range of pharmaceutical and research applications. We take on new projects with confidence and speed because we can apply our experience from previous successful endeavors. We know what works and what doesn't, which gives us an edge in efficiency and model output quality.
Focus
- Immunetrics' focus is supporting our clients' drug discovery and therapeutic development projects, not our own. In this way, we ensure the confidentiality of your data and the propriety of the model we deliver for you.
- We are interested in entering the clinical development process as early as possible so that we can help guide our partners in the most appropriate direction. Our business is finding the most efficient path to either a "no go" decision or FDA approval and beyond, saving time and money in the process.
Innovation
- Our models are robust enough to feature a "virtual clinician" who monitors patients and executes the standard of care interventions used to treat patients. These interventions can be added, removed, and adjusted over time, just as they would be in a clinical setting. This also enables our models to account for regional standard of care differences.
- We employ an exclusively mechanistic representation of healthy physiology and disease states, up to and including a strictly physiological definition of death. Real-life patients expire when their hearts stop beating or their brains stop functioning, just as in our models.
