Tom Petzinger Tom Petzinger, board member, is chairman of LaunchCyte LLC, a founder of Immunetrics and five other life science companies. Prior to co-founding LaunchCyte, he spent 22 years at The Wall Street Journal as deputy Washington bureau chief. He also served as Washington economics editor, millennium editor, and weekly "Front Lines" columnist. Tom serves as a director of the Pennsylvania Biotechnology Association. Tom holds a B.S. in journalism from Northwestern University, where he was a Richter Undergraduate International Scholar.

Martin Brecher Martin Brecher, M.D., board member, is a medical science director at AstraZeneca. He has 13 years experience conducting clinical drug trials and managing drug development. Prior to joining industry he worked at the FDA for two years. Martin was on the faculty of the Department of Psychiatry at SUNY Downstate for 10 years where he conducted electrophysiological research in schizophrenic patients. Martin is a graduate of the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and also received a Doctor of Medical Science degree from SUNY Downstate and an MBA from the Wharton School of Business.

Coming Soon... Jean-Michel Gries, Pharm.D., Ph.D., MBA, board member, has a PharmD degree and a PhD in pharmacokinetics, from Rene Descartes University in Paris. His training covers all aspects of clinical pharmacology with a Master in Statistics and a doctoral degree in Analytical Chemistry. He is a clinical pharmacology fellow with numerous assignments both in adult and pediatric medicine and a post-doctoral fellowship from UC San Francisco. Dr. Gries has also completed an MBA with a major in Finance and concentration in entrepreneurial leadership from the Wharton School. Jean-Michel Gries was a director in the clinical pharmacology department at Aventis Pharmaceutical, in Bridgewater, New Jersey. After Aventis, He was the U.S. site head of Clinical Pharmacology for Hoffmann-La Roche in Nutley, New Jersey overseeing all aspects of early drug development across all therapeutic areas. After Roche, Dr. Gries joined Paramount Biosciences, a New-York based boutique venture capital company specialized in the creation of Biotechnology companies, as the VP of Clinical Development, in charge of licensing, development strategy and oversight of all assets under managements. He participated in fund raising for Paramount and its portfolio companies. He is now the Chief Executive Officer of Kalos Therapeutics a biotechnology company focused on oncology. Dr. Gries is the author of more than 30 papers and communications, and a member of the American Society for Clinical Pharmacology and Therapeutics and a fellow of the American College of Clinical Pharmacology. He served as the chairperson of the Pharmacometrics and biostatistics section of ASCPT for the period 1999-2002 and on the education committee. He is an elected regent of the American College of Clinical Pharmacology (2009-2013).

Steve Chang Steven Chang, M.S., CEO, board member, is a successful technology entrepreneur with more than a 15 years of experience in developing complex computer models, optimization algorithms, and data mining systems. He is the Chairman of the board of directors for SCAI (Society for Complexity in Acute Illnesses). As founding CEO of Futuristics Labs, Steve raised two rounds of financing totaling over $10 million. Futuristics' proprietary technologies enabled real-time ad hoc query processing on terabyte sized databases with no loss in data resolution. Prior to founding Futuristics, Steve headed up the Intelligent Software Systems group at Westinghouse/CBS Corporation's Science and Technology Center and developed decision optimization and computer modeling systems that were successfully deployed in many Fortune 500 companies, including Kraft Foods, Colgate-Palmolive, Nestle, and Airborne Express. He was also instrumental in establishing the first Westinghouse presence on the Internet and was the recipient of two George Westinghouse Signature Awards for Excellence. Steve attained both BS and MS degrees in Electrical Engineering from the Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute.
