Applications
Immunetrics offers significant experience and modeling expertise in the areas of immunology, inflammation, and coagulation, and is currently expanding into a number of additional disease states.
Immunetrics builds predictive computer models based on biological mechanisms. With your data as inputs, we can predict clinically relevant endpoints. Example applications of our modeling experience include:
- Translating animal data to predict clinical efficacy in humans before performing a human trial
- Identifying biomarkers that best represent a drug's efficacy
- PK/PD predictions at an individual patient level
- Suggesting optimal dosage and route of administration of drugs
- PK/PD predictions that incorporate the effects of specific genetic mutations or SNPs
- Proposing clinical trial inclusion/exclusion criteria, trial size estimation
- Conducting in silico clinical trials, including registrational endpoints, and predicting treatment efficacy based on inclusion/exclusion criteria
Disease State Expertise

Immunetrics offers significant experience and modeling expertise in the areas of immunology, inflammation, and coagulation. Because of the significance of these complex processes in the pathophysiology of so many human disease states, our expertise can be adapted to simulate a nearly endless number of disease applications. Our commitment to building models with a healthy state foundation has also endowed us with an extensive model of core human physiology, further allowing for broad expansion.
Our current areas of focus, as well as some disease states into which we are expanding through our own initiatives and at the request of our clients, include:
- Infectious diseases such as sepsis
- Rheumatoid arthritis
- Cancer
- Cardiovascular disease
- Respiratory diseases – asthma and COPD
- Systemic lupus erythematosus
- Osteoporosis
- Trauma and hemorrhagic shock
We pride ourselves on our ability to model biological processes at all levels, from micro to macro. These processes occur simultaneously and are dependent on one another. The Immunetrics modeling technology can answer questions at any scale. And in all applications, Immunetrics maintains its focus on predicting clinical outcomes as the model output.
Immunetrics models biological processes at all scales, from micro to macro.
Our approach has been proven many times over in diverse research situations. We can enhance a research and development program at any stage, from target validation to lead selection to post-approval studies.
